Paneer Kali Mirch

A creamy North Indian curry where soft paneer cubes meet the earthy aroma of Highland Spices Black Pepper.

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer (cubed)

  • 1 onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp Highland Spices Black Pepper powder

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • ½ cup fresh cream or milk

  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan; add cumin seeds and onions, sauté till translucent.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook briefly.

  3. Stir in black pepper and salt.

  4. Pour in cream or milk; mix well and simmer gently.

  5. Add paneer cubes; cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

  6. Garnish with coriander and a sprinkle of Highland Spices Black Pepper.

Serving Tip: Pair with naan or jeera rice — the peppery cream base gives this dish a royal touch.
